We’re Hiring a Scientific Communication Manager

Reporting to the Preclinical and Clinical Research Director, the Scientific Communication Manager will play a crucial role in communicating our research findings, through different materials.

Responsibilities
▪ Content development: Produce high quality scientific content including research articles (Peer-reviewed papers) and reports, white papers, and other R&D related documents.
▪ Work with the R&D group members to write or facilitate the writing of scientific related deliverables that include, but may not be limited to:
o Scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and oral presentation materials
o Internal technical reports
o Clinical study protocols and reports
o Investigator brochures.

▪ Research communication: Translate complex scientific content and research findings into clear, concise, and engaging content for various internal and external interlocutors.
▪ Collaboration: work closely within the R&D group but also marketing, regulatory affairs, and sales teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of scientific information across all communications channels.
▪ Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to support R&D projects.
▪ Keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in the field of -biotics and related disciplines to ensure content creation and ensure relevance.
▪ Maintain consistency with current industry practices and regulatory requirements and guidelines that affect scientific writing.
▪ Handle all aspects of a manuscript submission and follow up with journal editors; manage projects to ensure that authors respect deadlines and respond to comments promptly and effectively.
▪ Can participate in scientific events and conferences.
▪ Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in R&D labs.
▪ Manage the yearly Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program.
▪ Any other related projects and tasks.

Requirements
▪ Possess a PhD. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
▪ Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position or R&D project management, preferably in the -biotics or a related industry.
▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English.
▪ Strong understanding of scientific research methodologies and data interpretation.
▪ Proficiency in using scientific databases and reference management tools.
▪ Have already published in peer reviewed process.
▪ Attention to details, analytical and critical thinking skills.
▪ Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
▪ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Work conditions
▪ Workplace: 6100 Avenue Royalmount, Montréal, QC H4P 2R2.
▪ Hybrid mode remote working: Work from home and office.
▪ 37,5/hours per week from Monday to Friday.
▪ Group Insurance Plan and Registered Pension Plan.
▪ Salary according to experience.
